We haven’t built a tool that will replace salespeople.
We have built a platform to make them better.
At VerseIQ, we believe trust sits at the centre of every complex enterprise deal and trust is human.
It’s built in the moment, through judgment, timing, and how a conversation is handled.
That’s what we’ve built around.
The product strengthens the rep in that moment, helping them respond with clarity, stay in control, and handle what matters, when it matters.
VerseIQ was born from a problem both founders lived.
Shamus Dermody spent 16 years in international B2B sales leadership building revenue engines, managing high-performing teams, playing a key role in a successful exit to K1 Capital.
In that time, he watched the same failure repeat itself, again and again: sales reps who knew their product, worked their playbook and still walked out of calls having left value on the table. Not because they were bad at their jobs. Because they were alone on the call, with no way to access what they needed at the moment they needed it.
Bartek Bogacki spent 20 years building and scaling complex distributed systems across AdTech and FinTech.
He co-founded and led a technology company from startup to market leader. When Shamus described the problem, Bartek’s first response wasn’t ‘that would be hard to build.’ It was ‘why hasn’t this been built yet?’
VerseIQ is the answer to that question.
The Mission
What we’re here to do
To build the definitive real-time, in-call sales guidance platform, one that elevates every salesperson, narrows the gap between best and average, and proves that AI at work makes people more powerful, not more peripheral.
The Vision
Category leadership by 2029
By 2029, VerseIQ will be the name synonymous with real-time in-call sales guidance, in the way many tools are synonymous with post-call analysis. That means owning the category language, establishing international presence, and building a product that salespeople insist on as a condition of taking a new role.
We’re building something that hasn’t meaningfully existed before. We intend to stay at the frontier of what is possible.
Our values
What we believe
Humanity +
The human in every sales conversation is irreplaceable.
Everything we build is designed to make that human better, not redundant.
Cast iron trust
We do what we say, and our product delivers what it promises.
VerseIQ never overstates what AI can do. It doesn’t claim to replace judgement.
It earns trust by being right when it matters.
Precision without overwhelm
We give people exactly what they need, when they need it, nothing that adds noise, nothing that creates overload.
Increasing insight
The longer VerseIQ works with a team, the more it knows.
Every call makes the guidance sharper.
A VerseIQ that has been working with a team for six months knows things no new tool ever could.
Continuous consistency
Every salesperson, on every call, gets the same quality of support, without exception, without fail, without an off day.
Constant innovation
We made deliberate bets on what is technically possible now, rather than optimising what was possible five years ago.
That approach doesn’t stop with the MVP.
The Founders
Built by operators. Engineered as a system.
VerseIQ is being built by a team lead by a visionary sales professional and an experienced engineer who insist the solution must work under real-time constraints.
Shamus Dermody
CEO
As a CRO, I saw the same pattern repeat regardless of company or market: a small core of high performers consistently closed the majority of deals, while the rest of the team struggled with the long tail.
The issue wasn’t a lack of effort or preparation: it was what happened in the moment. Live conversations demand that reps lead the call, recall product details, and read buyer signals all at once.
Under that pressure, even top performers miss signals or lose control of the process. Traditional tools never addressed this analysis happens after the fact, when the deal is already lost.
I founded VerseIQ to build technology that works in a way kind of like Google Maps, providing guidance exactly when it’s needed.

The first time I saw a post-call analysis platform, I knew it was solving the wrong problem. Recording and analyzing calls is really valuable, but as an engineer, I wondered: why are we only helping after the conversation is over?
The real challenge is preventing mistakes while the outcome can still be influenced. Most platforms are built for batch processing: record, transcribe, then report.
Real-time assistance requires a completely different technical architecture focused on streaming transcription and sub-second decision routing.
The hardest part isn’t the AI, it’s managing information load. We are building intelligent assistance that improves performance in the moment without getting in the way of the human connection.
